My own vegan story

I decided to become vegan when I saw the documentary Cowspiracy. Her influence on me was overwhelming. It is one thing to buy a kilo of meat from a butcher and another to see a living being with feelings brutally abused, living a life like a slave, being robbed of children and then stabbed to death to kill him while he often has consciousness.

It was not a matter of decision, I did not say that I would become vegan now. I had ordered kebabs and I didn't eat them. From then on, I couldn't eat meat or cheese again or drink milk. Of course I missed them as a taste and I still miss them but it costs me more to know that to eat a skewer an animal was imprisoned for the rest of its life and in the end was killed.

I want to help more actively, either by informing others who are interested, or by some other action of mine. For a start, I'm writing here hoping to meet others who share the same perspective.

Onstantkonstantinosm was also greatly influenced by Cowspiracy. It's really shocking, and especially if you're watching this kind of documentary for the first time, I think if you have empathy, it literally changes your life.

I completely understand you. Somehow we made the decision to build the site and we hope to help people with similar sensitivities realize that they are not alone and get to know each other.
